Both beginning and experienced knitters are welcome to join the Knitting Group. Children are taught to knit and are encouraged to practise both at home and at school.
The group is supervised by Mrs Ryan and parent helpers.
Each year the group has a knitting project such as patch work knee rugs to be given to the residents at Ray M Begg Aged Care Facility. The knitting group is an opportunity for children to participate in a cross age activity where skills can be taught and practised. All equipment supplied.
